Some news from Grassroots or as they say in Jamaica, Grassrootz.
I am sad to report that Clay Ogden is stepping down as Regional Coordinator for the Mountain Region (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico). The ever capable Tony Robledo
tony@goodstuffaudio.com will be stepping up to handle that position. I would like to thank Clay for all his efforts and help through the years.
The reviews of the recent shows have been outstanding. Wristband sales have been great and the outpouring of concern from fans for Richie has been overwhelming. I believe we are close to $3,000 collected so far. I'm not sure how much was raised with the raffle for Rocky's beautiful artwork. Alice did a great job with that.
Embroidered Little Feat golf towels were seen at the merch table at Keswick. There were only a handful and sold really quick. Maybe they will make a return if we get a positive response. They will probably be in the $25 to $30 range. Hopefully, some new tshirt designs are in the works. I would love to do a tshirt design contest with the fans, but I am still waiting to hear about that one. Let me know your thoughts about the golf towels and tshirt design contest.
On another note, we have to be careful with our freelance band promotions. Some things such as calling a radio DJ to try and get free promo time for an upcoming concert is fine. If you're not sure, contact me first.
58 days til the first show on the beach in Jamaica. Yah, mon!
