writing lyrics

i always at awe and even have talked to billy bout this. u can close your eyes and see a short story almost like a movie in 3 - 5- 40 min. song.......... i write lyrics but have not yet mastered that skill, how do they do that? i can close my eyes see the story unfold and yet it's a lyric...... a bud told me to write the story first then worry bout the rhymes. i reckon he's right......... but it reckon that's why feat is feat and i am well NOT.........
