Grassroots Announcement!

Hoy Hoy one and all,

After much deliberation, we have decided that it is time for us to step down from the official title of Little Feat Grassroots National Directors. We'd like to extend a huge THANKS to all of you who have assisted and supported us over the past five years. It has been a great pleasure to be involved with such a diverse and unique bunch of people, all sharing the love of the band Little Feat. We have never worked with more passionate and caring folks! Nothing will change for us, as we will continue to do what we have always done for the band. However, it's time for some "new blood" and some fresh ideas in the mix.

The new Grassroots Director is (drumroll, please) Bob McClanahan.

This decision was made in consultation with Bill and Paul. The band is very supportive of Bob McClanahan. Bob is full of great ideas about how the Grassroots Organization (we have always disliked the word "Movement") can benefit and assist the band. He is level-headed, logical, aware of all that goes on with Grassroots, has tons of common sense, is a great PR person, and is just about the most conscientious individual we have ever met -- a PERFECT choice for the position! Bob is very psyched about this, and we believe he is just the guy to really make things happen!

Let's all give Bob a warm welcome, as the official director of our Little Feat Grassroots Organization!
