Little Feat's Paul Barrere was an incredible guest on "David Uosikkinen In the Pocket" podcast.
Paul Barrere joins David and Andy to talk 50 years of Little Feat, and also showcases a modern take on a Feat classic.
From Andy Vineberg: "Little Feat's Paul Barrere was an incredible guest on today's "David Uosikkinen In the Pocket" podcast. He shared great memories of his early days in the band, the late Lowell George and Richie Hayward, the stories behind some of his signature songs (including an all-time Feat classic that George originally hated), the band's successful comeback in 1988 (which is now more than 30 years strong), and, of course, his infamous "Black Wednesday" performance during the making of "Waiting for Columbus."
I don't think David will mind me saying that he was a bit starstruck to talk to one of his heroes (Dave's pre-show comment to Paul: "While all my friends were listening to Led Zeppelin, I was listening to Little Feat"), but Paul more than lived up to expectations. He was a true gentleman and a fabulous interview."
